Week at a Glance ( November 22 – November 28 )

A week of walks past shuttered seasonal homes
and along the shores of quiet beaches.
A week of thankfulness expressed by traditional foods.
Memories of a good day captured in turkey stock
made from the remains of a very good bird.
A week when the decorative pumpkins
were returned to their spot on the top shelf,
and a new nautical rope wreath was hung on the door.

About Mary Jane

I am a retired English teacher. My husband, Frank, and I have lived on Cape Cod since 2000. I am a lifelong bread baker and writer and have been posting a blog on Falmouth Patch for the last few years. Savory Seasons has been largely devoted to recipes and food in general. I am hoping to expand my focus in this new blog.
