Better Day for Daisy

IMG_4270

So many of Daisy’s fans expressed concern after yesterday’s blog that I felt that an update was in order.

Things are brighter around here this morning. Miss Daisy is definitely feeling much better. Her mobility has improved significantly. She had no problem getting on the couch for her morning snooze.

Even Sam seems relieved. He kept circling around Daisy yesterday, sensing that something was wrong. He’s back to normal today in his customary morning position on the back of the couch.

I would like to point out that her appetite was never affected by her apparent pain and lack of mobility. She had a good breakfast this morning, but we have yet to break the news that lunch has been eliminated from her agenda. Her next meal will be dinner at 5 P.M. The adjustment might not be pretty!

But for the moment, we’ve all heaved a collective sigh of relief.
