The Daisy Saga continues. Yes, that’s a cone to prevent her from licking her foot. A “Comfy Cone.” Does anyone who knows us think she would be in the hard plastic version? She only wears it when we can’t watch her.

Daisy has an infection on the top of her foot. We watched the small red area for a couple of day thinking that it might be a hot spot, but when it didn’t get better, it was off to the vet.

In typical Daisy fashion, it’s never anything minor. This time, it’s an infection that required a shot, antibiotics and daily soaking. And a re-check in ten days. The vet thinks that it might have started with a bug bite, but we don’t know for sure. All we know is that the Pampered Princess in a Yellow Lab Suit is likely to play the invalid card for all it’s worth. Extra cookies, anyone?
