So it begins
with a splash
of yellow.
Deck showing
signs of promise.
Season of sunshine
and warmth unfolding
like the petals
of flowers.
Violas now
before leaves
burst forth
to shade the deck;
impatiens will follow
to thrive in
filtered light.
