Missing The Flowers

IMG_2122Happy to be home, but missing the flowers. I had hoped to come home to at least a few fledgling signs of spring, but the wait continues. After this past winter, the ground is struggling to warm up enough to allow the plants to bloom.

Disney World’s flower displays are beautiful in any season, but Epcot’s Flower Festival, with its amazing topiaries, remains my favorite time to visit. Love turning a corner to come face to face with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs or Thumper. Or to look up and see Peter Pan poised for flight from the roof of a building in Epcot’s England.

Magic spun with flowers. So Disney!

About Mary Jane

I am a retired English teacher. My husband, Frank, and I have lived on Cape Cod since 2000. I am a lifelong bread baker and writer and have been posting a blog on Falmouth Patch for the last few years. Savory Seasons has been largely devoted to recipes and food in general. I am hoping to expand my focus in this new blog.
