Kitchen Birds Adorn For Spring

IMG_1983The kitchen birds are wearing their Easter egg necklaces. Wonder if Mother Nature will take the hint and realize that it’s supposed to be Spring!

I’m going to burn my  sweat pants when ( or if ) this interminable winter ever ends. My   default stay at home ( AKA trapped in the house because of inclement weather) outfit is a rotation of sweat pants and polartecs.

Enough already. It’s almost April, and I’m still grabbing a ski jacket off the peg in the hall  to take Daisy out in the morning. While I’m on this rant, the deck is still encased in a mound of snow and ice.

I’m honestly not asking for much. A day when the temperature gets above 40 would be just perfect!
