The Daisy Saga Continues

IMG_1828Daisy has a urinary track infection. Our day started with a trip to the vet. Tests. Blood work. Meds. Follow up in two weeks.

Our Princess in a Yellow Lab Suit could never be referred to as just an average dog. Average dogs go swimming in ponds, roll in mud and just shake it off. Daisy went into a local pond just once and emerged with an intestinal infection that required meds.

She got a shoulder injury from jumping off a low rock wall. She’s had two ACL operations. She eats grain-free food because she was prone to hot spots as a puppy. We keep meds on hand to treat the bouts of diarrhea that occur when she eats anything out of the ordinary.

She may look sturdy, but in reality, she’s a hot house flower. But she’s our hot house flower, and we love her. We also keep the vet on speed dial and make sure our pet insurance premiums are up to date!
