It’s a little thing, I know. A ribbon place holder attached to a book. But it gives me unfailing pleasure to mark my page in such a whimsical way.
Not all books deserve the flutter of a ribbon marking a reader’s progress. Only the keepers. The ones that have earned a place on the bookshelf. The ones you’ll return to again and again.
Today included visits with two such keepers. Early morning time spent with Nigel Slater’s Notes From the Larder and an afternoon cup of tea with Susan Branch’s A Fine Romance.
Both ribbon worthy to be sure!
