Crabmeat English Muffins

This is an old fashioned appetizer that hasn’t lost its appeal. The only ingredient that might be a little tricky to find is the Old English spread. It’s in a refrigerated section near the packaged cheeses in most supermarkets.

Ingredients

1 jar Old English spread
1 stick butter, softened
2 TBS mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp seasoned (or kosher) salt
can of crabmeat
package of English muffins

Method

Combine ingredients. Spread on English muffins cut into quarters. Bake until crispy. 400 degrees. 15-20 minutes.

Can be made ahead and frozen. Once you spread the mixture on the English muffin quarters, put them on a cookie sheet and freeze them. Once frozen, you can bag them and keep them in the freezer. Can be baked frozen, but will take a little longer to cook.
