A Hunter and His Prey

IMG_0049

Sam proudly pranced into the living room last night with a mouse firmly clenched between his teeth. Frank’s response was, “Good job!” What else is there to say? He’s a cat doing what cats are supposed to do. I’m just wondering where he found it. Sam’s an indoor cat, so that means that he tracked down an indoor mouse!

Fortunately, Sam is too well fed to have any interest in eating it. That would have been really disgusting. I’m hoping that the mouse was just a stray and not part of a large family.

Also hope that the fact that he got praised for his efforts doesn’t mean that he’ll want to repeat the feat in front of company.
