The basket is ready for Halloween. I know that it’s early in the week, but the top choices will be pretty well depleted at the local stores if I wait until the actual day to gather in the loot for the neighborhood crew.

I let the kids choose whatever they want from the basket, but if the truth be known, I bury the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups under a pile of Snickers and Hersey Bars, hoping that at least a few will be overlooked.

Our local kids have favored Snickers in the past. Hopefully, that trend will continue!
