Home

Funny how it’s always so good to be home after a trip. Maybe that’s a good thing. It would be hard if home wasn’t your best place, and you were always looking for an escape.

Having said that, it’s fun to shake things up a bit. The cruise to Alaska had some real high points. I’ll never forget the whales. Taking a whale watch in a relatively small boat with only fourteen people and seeing the whales at close range was beyond awesome.

And I’ll never forget my delight in seeing the Chihuly glass sculptures in Seattle. The museum and gardens are truly breathtaking.

The only real downside for me was the difficulty in posting a blog. There were long stretches of time without good connection. Then my App started posting blanks. And the “cloud” stopped transferring my pictures from my phone to my iPad. Then I gave up; decided that I was on vacation and took a break.

Happy we went. Happy to be home.
