I’ve always been a list maker. Probably stems from being a teacher. Could be from years of juggling work and home and grad school. The only list that ever failed me was the household jobs list that I posted on the refrigerator when I went back to work when Betsy was 10. My thought was that we could share the load and sign up for various jobs around the house. Husband and daughter took one look at the list and hired Merry Maids.
I still make lists, but things are slightly different now. My lists were once simple organizational tools. Not any more. They have reached a level of real importance. If it isn’t written down, it’s likely that the item won’t be purchased or the task won’t be accomplished.
Going to chalk this up as yet another one of the joys of advancing age!
Can certainly relate!
